Finding the Sweet Spot: How Cloudforce Balances Culture and Productivity

A challenge that every organization faces is finding the balance between culture and productivity—let’s be real! But at Cloudforce, we’ve figured out a way to make it work. We’ve created an environment where employees can thrive, be innovative, and crush their goals—all while staying true to who they are and who they want to be. Here’s how we do it.

Team Dynamics!

When it comes to building teams, we’re not just checking boxes on diversity. Of course, we value different backgrounds and experiences—that’s a given. But we also focus on diversity in personality and personal interests. Why? Because big things happen when you’ve got a mix of creative thinkers, detail-oriented planners, and tech-lovers all working together.

We’re all about creating a culture where everyone feels they belong and can bring their whole selves to work. We want a team that challenges each other, thinks outside the box, asks the right questions, and comes up with solutions that are as unique as the people creating them.

Innovation: Keeping Up and Moving Forward

At Cloudforce, standing still isn’t an option. We’re ALWAYS on the lookout for the latest tech and trends that can take us to the next level—it’s about staying ahead of the curve.

We invest in our people with ongoing training, workshops, and resources that keep everyone sharp and ready to take on whatever comes our way. Whether it’s adopting new software, rethinking our approach to a project or updating equipment, we’re all about innovation and growth.

Hybrid Work: Productivity Wherever You Are

The way we work has changed, and we’ve fully embraced it! Our hybrid work environment is designed to give our employees the flexibility they need at home, while keeping productivity high. We make sure everyone has access to the best tech, clear communication channels, and the support they need—whether they’re at home or onsite in the office.

But it’s more than just tools and tech. We know that flexibility is KEY. Everyone is different and has obligations outside of work, and we get that. Some days you need a quiet space at home, and other days you might crave the buzz of the office (cue: Friday Shenanigans!). We’ve built a system that works for all those different needs, so our team can do their best work, no matter where they are.

Meetings That Matter: Streamlined for Success

Meeting overload is a real thing (we get it). Employees everywhere have felt the drag of too many meetings that eat into time that they could be using to actually get things done. That’s why Cloudforce has taken a hard look at our meeting structure and reduced meeting minutes.

We hold weekly company-wide updates to keep everyone on the same page, along with departmental meetings to focus on specific goals. But we’ve made sure these meetings are efficient, so our teams can spend more time on what really matters—getting the important stuff done.

To keep our team members on track and growing, our managers also hold quarterly meetings with their teams. These check-ins are all about making sure everyone is progressing towards their next role, aligning with their professional goals, and feeling supported in their work.

HR Check-Ins: Staying Connected

One thing we know for sure is that staying connected with our employees is crucial. Our HR team has regular check-ins with employees at various stages of their employment—whether they’ve been here for a month or a few years. These check-ins help us stay on top of things, address any concerns early on, and ensure that our employees are feeling engaged and motivated.

Culture + Productivity = Success

At the end of the day, building and maintaining a strong culture + high productivity is essential. By building diverse teams, staying innovative, supporting our employees in a hybrid work environment, and keeping meetings focused, we’ve found the sweet spot where culture and productivity thrive together.

This balance is what drives us forward, helping us not only meet our goals but exceed them. It’s what makes Cloudforce a great place to work–and a three-peat winner for Inc. Best Workplaces (2022-2024); Washington Business Journal Best Places to Work (2022-2024;, and Fast Company Best Place to Work for Innovators (2023); and why we’re excited about the future of our workforce.
