At Cloudforce, giving back is one of our core values. Through Cloudforce for Good, we put that value into action by expanding access to education, supporting our communities, and empowering the next generation of leaders. In 2025, that commitment came to life through a wide range of initiatives across the Washington region.
Last year’s flagship effort was the BikeMS ride, which took place last September in partnership with Microsoft. A group of determined Cloudforce teammates packed up their bicycles and headed to Ocean City for a 100-mile bike ride from Cherry Hill to Ocean City, New Jersey. The weekend was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and only one, (thankfully), minor cycling crash. It was our most physically demanding Cloudforce for Good activity to datebut the challenge strengthened our commitment to community. Throughout the year , we raised over $47,000 for the National MS Society, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals impacted by multiple scelrosis.
As we prepare for our 2026 flagship fundraiser supporting University of Maryland transfer students, we’re excited to reflect on a year filled with inspiring events and impactful partnerships.
Beyond BikeMS, Cloudforce for Good took on a diverse range of activities in 2025, from sponsoring hackathons and hosting student visits to volunteering in community programs. Whether we were judging at University of Maryland’s Bitcamp Hackathon or assembling Holiday Hope Kits at our National Harbor office, every event was an opportunity to empower, educate, and uplift.
Empowering Future Innovators: Hackathons and Student Events
Supporting the next generation of tech leaders is at the heart of what we do. In 2025, Cloudforce proudly sponsored hackathons and hosted workshops, including:
At the UMD Bitcamp Hackathon, the East Coast’s largest collegiate hackathon with over 1,000 students from across the country, Cloudforce partnered with Microsoft to sponsor the “Best Use of GenAI in Business” track powered by TerpAI (built on Cloudforce’s nebulaONE®), recognizing and celebrating the top student teams.
At the Duke Critical/Acute Care Datathon, a two-day event focused on AI-driven healthcare solutions, our team supported participants by mentoring them throughout the weekend and powering innovative projects with nebulaONE®.
We also launched the Future Force: Agent Building Bootcamp, a hands-on series designed to spark curiosity and build AI skills among aspiring technologists. Over four days, 16 students and recent grads dove headfirst into building real-world AI agents, applying what they learned to compete for a $5,000 scholarship.
Community Partnerships and Volunteerism: Giving Back Locally
Cloudforce for Good is deeply rooted in community. Throughout 2025, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves to support initiatives that made a real difference in the Washington region:
At the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington’s Reality Store Experience, we hosted industry tables to teach financial literacy through an interactive simulation based on the Game of Life.
We joined the Invent the Future Expo at KID Museum, cheering on youth innovators as they showcased STEM and design-thinking projects.
Our sponsorship and volunteer efforts at Microsoft’s 34th Annual Minority Student Day included mock networking sessions complete with mocktails and appetizers, giving students a safe space to practice professional skills.
During the holiday season, we assembled over 500 Holiday Hope Kits to support local families in need, spreading warmth and hope.
Inspiring the Next Generation: Educational Visits and Engagements
We love opening our doors to future leaders. Bringing students into our space allows them to experience what it’s really like to work in tech and opens young minds to new career possibilities. This year, we hosted several student groups for immersive learning experiences:
Potomac High School students toured our Oxon Hill office, getting a firsthand look at cloud technology in action.
BAM by Microsoft students spent a full day at HQ, learning more about AI, exploring Cloudforce departments, and discovering career pathways.
The Southern Management Leadership Program (SMLP) visited for a day of leadership training, AI learning, and career exploration.
Strategic Partnerships and New Initiatives: Bridging Education and Technology
In 2025, we kicked off an exciting partnership with 3DE Schools by Junior Achievement, a forward-thinking program that equips students to solve real-world business challenges. Through 2026, Cloudforce will collaborate with 3DE students at Surrattsville High School in Clinton, MD, as they tackle authentic business problems, gaining hands-on experience similar to what our consultants do.
Next up for Cloudforce for Good in 2026
Looking ahead, Cloudforce is proud to partner with the University of Maryland to support a leadership program for talented transfer students from Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. As Microsoft’s 2025 Education Partner of the Year, we’re excited to help advance this program, which has transformed the lives of 445 graduates over 20 years.
This April, our work will take center stage at our flagship fundraiser, Investing in Maryland’s Future: An Evening of Impact, taking place at the Capital Wheel on April 9. With a $100,000 fundraising goal, the event will bring our community together to invest in Maryland’s next generation of leaders.

Her passion for creating engaging experiences led her to an operations role at an experiential design firm, where she discovered her interest in Human Resources. Now, as the Workforce Development Lead at Cloudforce, Christina blends her background in events, operations, and logistics to build a workplace where teams feel connected, engaged, and recognized. Christina leads Cloudforce’s professional development initiatives and oversees key programs focused on employee experience, engagement, and recognition.
