Originally from Ethiopia, Hanan moved to the U.S. about nine years ago. Her journey has been enriched by a diverse educational and professional background. She holds a master’s degree in data analytics and an MBA with a concentration in accounting.

From a young age, Hanan possessed a natural affinity for numbers and initially aspired to become an accountant; however, her passion for technology and big data led her to pursue a master’s degree in data analytics. Shortly after graduating, she began working in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for a solar company where she had the opportunity to be part of a finance software implementation project. This experience sparked her interest in identifying gaps in processes and translating them into actionable requirements, which then became integrated into the software. Ultimately this ignited a love for managing software implementation projects, and the rest is history!

Hanan’s professional experience spans across accounting, finance, and IT consulting, where she has consistently demonstrated her dedication to leveraging technology to make a positive impact on people, businesses, and communities. As Project Manager and nebulaONE® Lead Hanan now oversees and leads the deployment of Cloudforce’s flagship platform, nebulaONE® AI, ensuring seamless end-to-end execution. She collaborates closely with engineering teams, clients, and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions, and acts as the primary point of contact for clients. She considers her work to be an exhilarating experience that allows her to be part of meaningful change that is accelerating the development of technology worldwide.

Outside of work, Hanan is a self-described foodie and loves exploring new restaurants from various cultures. In her free time, she also enjoys traveling, playing basketball, going on walks with her dog, and watching documentaries.

• Cream caramel – the combination of the creamy custard and the caramel sauce makes it a very delightful treat!

Have you ever completed anything on your bucket list?

• Skydiving was a great experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone. The thrill of free falling from thousands of feet in the air was both terrifying and liberating. Overcoming my fear of heights was a significant personal achievement, and the sense of accomplishment I felt upon landing safely was indescribable.

What is your favorite item you’ve bought this year?

• I recently bought a spinning cleaning brush for my bathroom– thanks to TikTok shop! It has an extender, so you don’t have to bend down to scrub your bathtub. Life-changing!

If you could be guaranteed one thing in life (besides money), what would it be and why?

• Peace of mind. I think it is invaluable, because it allows you to live a fulfilling and stress-free life. Being content and happy with your present circumstances helps you to appreciate the little things, maintain a positive outlook, and build meaningful relationships. It’s the foundation for overall well-being and happiness!
