Jordan went to school thinking she would be a doctor, left thinking she would save the whales, and wound up working in government contracting. Over the last 10 years, she’s worked in business development and delivery for healthcare IT solutions for the department of Veterans’ Affairs. Her drive to do work that improves outcomes for real people by applying leading edge technologies led her to Cloudforce, where she works closely with the nebulaONE development team to create an excellent AI product.

Outside of work, Jordan loves to be outside. Whether backyard in a hammock, on the golf course, or in the mountains, she is happiest enjoying whatever weather she finds herself in. Favorite activities include basking in the sun, swimming in wild waters, and hiking for hours for a 20-minute picnic at the peak. She loves to read and is earnestly learning to play and write music. She lives in Alexandria with her husband, an opinionated corgi, and a very beautiful cat who is a little mean.

• Dreams by Fleetwood Mac. It’s a crowd-pleaser, it’s so fun to sing, and I love to shift the mood.

What’s a creative outlet or hobby you enjoy?

• My hobby is hobbies, and I’ve accepted that I go through seasons of obsession. I’m always looking for new ways to express myself creatively and physically – for the moment, my hyper focus is on quilting and golf.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

• The best advice I’ve ever been given is to wear sunscreen and spend as much time with the people you love as you can.

If you could instantly master one skill, what would it be?

• I would love to be a master of knots! I keep rope in my car and my hiking backpack and am always finding uses for it.
