Born and raised in New Jersey, Tessa now calls the DMV area home after proudly graduating from the University of Maryland. While studying journalism, she discovered a passion for human connection and storytelling—interests that shaped her career path. She went on to combine those passions with a commitment to service, coordinating service-learning opportunities at a girls’ boarding school and managing communication projects for a global disaster relief nonprofit.

As Project Manager, Team Lead at Cloudforce, Tessa brings her expertise in optimizing systems, fostering team trust, and ensuring projects stay on track. She values clear communication and thrives on creating an environment where creativity and collaboration can flourish.

In her free time, Tessa loves to cook, read, craft, and explore DC with her partner.

·          Dancing! Being able to move to any beat and not look robotic.

Do you have any passion projects, if so, what is it?

·          I started documenting my cooking adventures and favorite meals on my Instagram, @allthecheeseplz. Yes, everything is cheese related! I’ve also recently gotten into junk journaling, which is kind of like scrapbooking but with stuff from your everyday life. 

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?

·          Sitting by the water somewhere (preferably a beach!) with my partner, reading a book, and enjoying a picnic in the sun. 

If you had to crack a joke during some awkward silences, which joke would you crack?

·          I don’t usually find silence awkward – I can make conversation with anyone!
