What happens when passionate educators, curious students, and forward-thinking innovators come together at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities?
The Cloudforce team recently had the honor of touring these institutions on a weeklong UK tour, connecting with exactly —students, researchers, and leaders who are shaping the future of higher education. Along the way, we explored how artificial intelligence is evolving fast, and it’s sparking new ideas that stretch the boundaries of what’s possible in the classroom, the lab, and beyond.
At each university, the Cloudforce team led hands-on workshops and interactive discussions, introducing nebulaONE® as a practical tool for building AI agents and addressing real-world challenges. Participants engaged in activities ranging from prompt design and agent-building exercises to collaborative ideation sessions, exploring the possibilities of agentic AI.
At the University of Manchester, the tour kicked off with a live agent-building challenge, sparking collaborative problem-solving and inspiring new ideas. This energy carried forward to the University of Surrey, where our team facilitated conversations about strategic AI adoption, operational efficiency, and the need to balance technological advancement with critical thinking and creativity. Together, we unpacked why context engineering, governance, and practical success metrics matter more than ever in today’s AI-driven world.
The London leg of the tour included stops at Imperial College London and London Business School, where Cloudforce hosted hybrid workshops and introduced “The AI Cup,” a hackathon where students were challenged to design nebulaONE agents that address real-world problems and streamline workflows. Stay tuned to our LinkedIn to see this month’s announcement of the winning team!
For the final stops of our tour, the Cloudforce team visited Oxford and Cambridge, where we focused on responsible and effective AI integration, guiding participants through key questions around governance, ethics, and data protection. Workshops showcased practical examples, such as ticket policy agents automating IT workflows, and explored the impact of AI on environmental responsibility. The team also discussed future collaborations, empowering students to leverage nebulaONE in addressing pressing global challenges.
Cloudforce is incredibly grateful to each institution that welcomed our team and let us put our vision into action, showing how AI can empower students and educators alike. The creativity, curiosity, and bold thinking we witnessed fuel our mission—and supporting these universities is what earned Cloudforce recognition as Microsoft’s Education Partner of the Year, reflecting the dedication of our team, partners, and the communities we serve. As we continue partnering with universities around the world, we’re committed to empowering the next generation of leaders to build, question, and advance AI responsibly.
