Last month, Cloudforce wrapped up an inspiring Future Force: AI Agent Builders Bootcamp, a 4-day immersive program designed to give students and recent graduates real-world experience in building AI agents using nebulaONE®, a secure AI gateway powered by Microsoft Azure.
Over the course of the bootcamp, 16 emerging innovators built working prototypes of AI agents while learning directly from industry experts. They explored everything from the fundamentals of generative AI to multi-agent workflows, gaining hands-on practice and mentorship that will set them apart in today’s fast-evolving AI economy.
From the very first session, participants were challenged to think like builders. After logging into their dedicated nebulaONE® instance, they got their feet wet by designing simple personal agents, experimenting with different models, and brainstorming use cases rooted in real challenges facing students, staff, and researchers in higher education. Along the way, Cloudforce CEO Husein shared his personal journey, conducted live demos of custom agents in action, and gave students a glimpse into how our team deploys AI solutions for clients.
As the program progressed, students moved from fundamentals into more advanced design. Guided by Cloudforce trainers, they compared model strengths and weaknesses, learned how to spot hallucinations, and explored how to align prompts with outputs. They debated the value of different knowledge sources, tested system vs. personal agents, and discovered why clarity and context are so important in building effective solutions. The idea of multi-agent orchestration—where specialized helper agents collaborate under the direction of an orchestrator agent—pushed participants to think beyond single-use tools toward scalable systems.
Throughout the week, participants applied what they learned to their own projects, refining ideas like anti-phishing agents, academic advisors, study planners, research assistants, and financial aid guides. With coaching from the Cloudforce team, they added features, worked through blockers, and practiced presenting their solutions—knowing that it would all culminate in a Shark Tank–style pitch competition.
The final showcase was nothing short of inspiring. Students presented bold, practical solutions to real problems in higher education: navigating graduation requirements, simplifying research workflows, demystifying student loans, improving accessibility, finding scholarships, and even helping graduates land jobs. The creativity and technical rigor on display proved just how much participants had absorbed in four short days.
