More Than a Policy: Cloudforce’s Commitment to Inclusion and Belonging

At Cloudforce, creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is a core part of who we are. We know that when employees feel valued, seen, and supported, they flourish. And when our people thrive, so does our business. That’s why we’re intentional about creating a space where different backgrounds, viewpoints, and experiences are not only welcomed, but celebrated.

Why Inclusion Matters

Building an inclusive culture isn’t something you do once and mark as complete – it’s an ongoing and continuous effort. We’re committed to making sure our policies, hiring practices, and everyday work environment reflect the world that we all live in… and here’s what that looks like at Cloudforce.

How We Foster a Culture of Belonging

A strong workplace culture celebrates and values the diverse experiences that make each person unique. At Cloudforce, we take time to recognize and highlight cultural heritage and identity through important celebrations, including, but not limited to:

  • Black History Month
  • Hispanic Heritage Month
  • Women’s History Month + International Women’s Day
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Juneteenth

But it’s not just about recognizing these moments – it’s about using them as opportunities to educate, spark meaningful conversations, and amplify voices that need to be heard. Whether it’s through sharing resources like articles or books, employee spotlights or participating in community events, we’re dedicated to making sure these observances create genuine connections across teams.

Inclusion isn’t just about who we hire, but how we support them once they’re here. Life doesn’t pause when you’re at work, and that’s why we’ve built policies and benefits that meet our employees where they are, including:

  • Flexible work arrangements to accommodate different needs.
  • Comprehensive medical coverage which includes reproductive health benefits like fertility treatments and family planning options.
  • Paid Parental Leave for all new parents, including those who want to adopt or foster.
  • A dedicated Wellness Room that can be used for mid-day prayer, lactation, or mental health breaks.

When employees have the support they need to balance work and life, they’re more engaged, motivated and ready to make an impact.

Community Engagement & Talent Pipeline Development

A diverse workforce takes effort and commitment, which is why we ensure our hiring practices reflect the communities that we serve. One way we’re doing this is by prioritizing hiring residents from Prince George’s County, supporting local economic growth and workforce development. In our annual growth report, we shared that one in four of our employees call Prince George’s County home—a testament to our deep connection with the community.

We also understand that building a strong talent pipeline begins long before the hiring process starts. That’s why we actively partner with local organizations (like the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and the Southern Management Leadership Program) and larger enterprises like Microsoft to create opportunities in the technology field and host events centered around new cloud initiatives and strategies.

Career Growth & Professional Development

We’re also focused on making sure that once people join Cloudforce, they have access to career growth, and opportunities to advance, whether that’s through earning professional certifications, attending conferences, or connecting with a senior mentor.

In 2024, Cloudforce celebrated 51% team growth and achieved 128 new certifications.

Growing With Our Team

Building an inclusive workplace is a constant effort and we’re always looking for ways to improve. The best way to do that is by listening to our employees. We regularly:

  • Conduct employee surveys to collect honest, meaningful feedback.
  • Use that feedback to improve our benefits, perks and incentives so they actually work for the people they’re designed to support.
  • Foster an environment where everyone, from leadership to new hires, understands the role they play in creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong.

We value every insight our team shares, and our 4.9 Glassdoor rating reflects our commitment to a supportive, inclusive culture truly makes a difference.

At the end of the day, we’re building more than just a workplace… we’re shaping a culture where everyone feels valued for their contributions.

We know that building an inclusive workplace is an ongoing journey, and while we’ll never claim to have it all figured out, you can count on us to keep listening, learning, and working toward a workplace that truly reflects our values.
