Born and raised in Rockville, MD, Stuart’s passion for technology was ignited by his dad, a computer scientist disruptor and self-affirmed Trekkie. Guided by the mantra “to boldly go where no man has gone before,” Stuart followed in his father’s footsteps. Eventually Stuart’s love of computers, combined with his love for logic puzzles, led Stuart to pursue and earn a B.S. in computer science at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Stuart’s cloud journey began working for a government contractor in the Baltimore area, as an IT Specialist and he quickly climbed the ranks to Cloud System Administrator supporting Azure projects. He now brings his experience to the Cloudforce team as a Cloud Solutions Engineer.

• When I am not at Cloudforce I like to read fantasy novels, play complicated strategy games, and stay active participating in all kinds of social sports.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

• When I was a child, I wanted to be a paleontologist, I was a dinosaur kid.

• My favorite dessert is cheesecake, there is always room for more cheesecake.

What fictional world (comics, TV, anything) or place would you like to visit?

• I really want to visit the Shire from Middle Earth, which explains why I also really want to visit New Zealand to see the Hobbiton movie set.
