Caroline Chu

Project Manager

  • LinkedIn

Caroline graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.S. in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. Before joining Cloudforce as a Project Manager, she spent 2.5 years at a TransitTech company, where she managed public transit projects for universities and cities across the nation. She was proud to deliver accessible, affordable, and environmentally friendly transit solutions to everyday Americans. In her current role, she leverages her lifelong attention to detail and dedication to client satisfaction to ensure customer success. Caroline has already obtained her AZ-900 Microsoft certification to enhance her technical expertise and is currently preparing for the PMP exam to continue refining her skills.

Caroline recently relocated to Old Town Alexandria to be closer to the Cloudforce office, where she enjoys the waterfront scenery. Outside of work, she loves live music, board games, long walks, and baking. If you have any blues band or Beatles tribute band recommendations, she’d love to hear them!

Other fun facts about Caroline:

If you had a time machine, would you go back or into the future? And why?
  • Definitely back in time! Growing up, I adored the Magic Tree House series of books, the Time Wrap Trio TV show, and anything historical fiction, so I think my inner child would be pleased with that choice. From a logical standpoint, it would make sense to choose the past so I would know what situations I was getting myself into ahead of time. I realize that that logic comically speaks to my general high need for control!
What is your favorite item you’ve bought this year?
  • My Mark Maggiori painting, which is framed above the couch in my living room. Mark makes absolutely gorgeous Western art. Seeing cowboys, horses, and a blazing sunset in my apartment everyday adds a twinkle of romanticism and beauty to my life.
What’s a trend or invention you hope makes a comeback?
  • Live music in intimate venues! Madam’s Organ is my spot, but it would be nice to see more small local venues with consistent live music all year round. Nothing hits better than listening to a band of musicians who have been playing with each other for 30+ years, with a drink in hand.
If you had to delete all but 3 apps from your phone, which 3 would you keep?
  • Instagram, Spotify, and Maps. Instagram could be used to keep in touch with friends and family but also offers entertainment value through Reels, I can’t live without Spotify (not sure I could survive my work commute without cycling between playlists), and I have a very poor sense of direction, so Maps is essential.
What’s your favorite way to celebrate a win (big or small)?
  • Traveling would definitely be my favorite (if only it was feasible after every win)! After I graduated high school, my family and I spent two weeks in California and hit SF, LA, and San Diego. Getting that extended period of quality time together is definitely something I’ll treasure forever, and visiting spots like Yosemite and Point Lobos wasn’t too bad either.
