Elissa Ponniah has never been one to stay in one lane — and that’s precisely what makes her such a compelling addition to the Cloudforce team. Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, this proud University of Texas graduate earned her degree in Corporate Communication while collecting cities along the way, having lived in Austin, Miami, and Los Angeles before making her way to the DMV in May 2024. Small-town roots, it turns out, are no match for a big sense of adventure.
Her career reflects that same restless curiosity. Elissa has worn many hats across digital marketing, PR and communications for nonprofits including the Boys and Girls Club, creative development in film and television, and marketing within commercial management services. In recent years, she has sharpened her focus on project management and marketing operations in the tech industry, building a reputation for bringing structure to creativity and helping teams transform complex ideas into meaningful, measurable results. It’s that rare ability to speak both the language of strategy and the language of storytelling that makes her a natural fit as Cloudforce’s newest Associate Project Manager.
Elissa approaches life with the same intentionality she brings to her work. In April 2022, she embarked on a month-long camping road trip through the Western U.S., affectionately dubbed her “Wacky Like Kerouac Adventure,” that deepened her appreciation for exploration and human connection. When she’s not driving projects forward, you might find her cooking with her husband, owning the karaoke stage with friends, or standing on a mountaintop in coastal Oregon, listening to the wind.
