Querida Escalera’s path to Cloudforce is anything but conventional, and that’s exactly what makes her story worth telling. Born into a military family, Querida spent her formative years on the move, learning early on how to adapt, connect, and thrive in new environments. It was a childhood that instilled in her a rare combination of grit and grace that would quietly shape everything that followed.
Her professional journey began where passion meets purpose: cannabis advocacy. At a time when the industry was still finding its footing, Querida was already in the thick of it, working at the ground level to advance a cause she believed in. Over the course of a decade, she steadily worked her way up to a role with the state cannabis administration, where she became a driving force behind the creation of the Cannabis Workforce Development program. There, she took the reins on educational content and programming, helping to build a framework designed to bring real opportunity to real people. Now, as an Associate Project Manager at Cloudforce, Querida channels that same energy into helping teams deliver complex solutions with clarity and purpose.
Outside of work, she is a devoted mother to her son Richard and a loving granddaughter who shares her home with her grandmother. The three of them share a love of movies and video games, and Querida finds her own quiet joy in cooking, reading, and tending to her garden, nurturing growth in every corner of her life.
