His journey kicked off with tinkering and troubleshooting as an IT support technician at GMU, and now he’s diving headfirst into the exciting realm of Cloudforce. If you need a PC wizard, well, that’s him! Tan has a natural knack for putting together rigs and untangling technical hiccups–his friends and family always turn to him.
Tan’s tech voyage began back at NOVA, but it was at George Mason University where he truly hit his stride assisting with tech support and gaining some pretty nifty skills along the way. His journey took him from being a tech rep at GMU–where he helped staff and faculty troubleshoot hardware and software–to discovering his passion for networking and the cloud. As a Cloud Solutions Associate at Cloudforce, he is all about feeding his IT fervor by supporting internal processes and handling cloud-related tasks. There’s so much room for growth and learning in his IT career, and he’s excited to grab every opportunity here with both hands.
Tan isn’t just all about tech. He is also a sports fanatic–soccer, especially cheering for Liverpool, gives him a serious adrenaline rush. Don’t think for a second that he’s not handy on the basketball court. Oh, and a relaxing swim? Count him in! Speaking of awesome things, Tan also absolutely cherishes spending quality time with his amazing family and friends.

- I have visualized memory. Sometimes I can recall what I saw in an event from a few months ago.
What is your favorite tradition or holiday?
- Lunar New Year and Christmas, because I can meet and spend time with my family and friends.
