Originally from Annapolis and raised in Upstate New York, William’s interest in technology started early and never stopped growing. His path to engineering included a few meaningful detours: after beginning college as an Economics major, he took time away to work and travel, spending more than seven months backpacking and hitchhiking across South America. He returned with a stronger perspective, fluency in Spanish, and a clear sense of direction that led him to switch his major to Computer Science.
Since transitioning into software engineering, William has contributed to several impactful projects. He is especially proud of his work supporting the New START treaty, where his engineering efforts directly supported international nuclear arms reduction—an achievement that continues to motivate his commitment to building technology that matters.
As a Cloud Applications Engineer at Cloudforce, William focuses on delivering scalable, high‑quality cloud solutions that help clients move faster and build with confidence. He brings a lifelong passion for technology to his work, along with a strong foundation in software engineering and cloud‑native development.
Outside of his role at Cloudforce, William brings the same energy and curiosity to his personal life. A lifelong surfer, he has traveled widely in pursuit of great waves. He is also an avid musician with a particular interest in Cuban music, and he enjoys animals, cooking, sports, and reading history. Most of all, he values time spent with friends and family.

- Almost all of them, but I think New Years Eve is super underrated
What’s the best concert or live event you’ve ever attended?
- My own band’s concerts! 😉 But actually, it would be a live salsa show I saw in San Juan, Puerto Rico, finding the venue by chance on a walk one night.
