Howard University‘s spectacular inaugural hackathon, BisonBytes, was a weekend packed with innovation, learning, and collaboration. We gratefully acknowledge and thank Morayo Adeyemi and her team, for leading this 100% student-run event! 🙌💡

A proud Tera Sponsor alongside Microsoft, Cloudforce had the double pleasure to both help inspire young students and be inspired by their passion and dedication in making a difference with technology. As Creators and judges of the AI/ MachineLearning Track, Cloudforce also got to jump right in and challenge student participants to tackle real-world challenges using Microsoft Azure and OpenAI services. 🤖 👨‍💻

🏆 We’re pleased to congratulate the creators of winning solution “Bison Connect” for their groundbreaking platform aimed at bridging the information gap between Howard University and prospective freshmen. 🎓💬 The intelligent Bison Connect assistant utilizes cutting-edge technology like Azure Cognitive Search and OpenAI’s language model to provide swift and relevant responses to user queries, making the higher ed journey smoother and more connected for all. 🌐💡 All first, second, and third place winners in this track earned a Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop and an Xbox. 💻 🎮
