Cloudforce is excited to announce that our Chief Operating Officer, Jesse Kellner, was recently invited to speak at the University of Maryland’s NVIDIA GTC Watch Party. This prestigious event brought together hundreds of students and top technology leaders to discuss the future of artificial intelligence, career opportunities, and responsible innovation.
The event took place at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center’s Dekelboum Concert Hall, where attendees tuned in to NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote address, streamed live from Washington, D.C. The day featured interactive panels with executives from NVIDIA, AstraZeneca, Whiting-Turner Contracting Co., and Cloudforce, alongside Maryland Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller and UMD President Darryll J. Pines.
Representing Cloudforce, Jesse Kellner— a University of Maryland alumni and an adjunct lecturer at the Robert H. Smith School of Business— shared insights drawn from his leadership experience guiding our team in developing Cloudforce’s AI initiatives, including TerpAI, the University’s dedicated instance of our flagship platform, nebulaONE®. Kellner encouraged students to develop well-rounded skill sets:
“Don’t let AI be a shortcut or a cheat code to not putting in the work. Focus on integrity. In the same way Maryland is building Do Good Terps, be a great person.”
Kellner’s message underscored Cloudforce’s belief that AI should empower individuals, not replace them. He urged attendees to strengthen their soft skills and emotional intelligence, using AI to augment their unique talents while staying true to their character and values. Cloudforce is proud to see Kellner recognized for his leadership and expertise and remains committed to advancing responsible AI solutions—like TerpAI—and supporting the next generation of innovators.
At Cloudforce, we are honored to support the University of Maryland and the broader region. We believe in fostering local talent, driving innovation, and contributing to the growth of our community. Together, we are building a brighter future—empowering students, professionals, and organizations across Maryland and beyond.
